OASES wins BiUniCrowd VII Edition and completes crowdfunding campaign with €22,240 raised

OASES has been selected as one of the winning projects in BiUniCrowd, the crowdfunding program of the University of Milano-Bicocca that supports high-impact research and innovation.The crowdfunding campaign has now officially concluded, raising a total of €22,240 thanks to the contributions of over 100 donors and the co-financing from Eni — more than doubling the original target of €10,000.

The fund raised will allow:

• The development of a digital platform to assist frontline healthcare workers in diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and injuries in medical deserts

• The pilot testing and implementation at Dr. Ambrosoli Memorial Hospital in Kalongo, Uganda

• The training and digital equipping of 45 healthcare providers to support emergency care delivery in remote and underserved areas
