Kalongo, Agago District, Uganda
The first test and pilot implementation of OASES will take place at Dr. Ambrosoli Memorial Hospital in Kalongo, Uganda. This hospital serves an estimated population of 373,780 people living in the rural area of Agago and neighboring districts in Northern Uganda. Through our collaboration with the University of Milano-Bicocca and Fondazione Ambrosoli, we will:
Train local healthcare workers to integrate OASES into clinical practice
Refine the platform based on real-world feedback from frontline providers
Evaluate its impact on patient outcomes and hospital workflows
Once successfully tested in Kalongo, the platform developed through the OASES project can be scaled to other rural hospitals worldwide.
